Sync orders server-side — no tracking script changes needed on your store. Orders and refunds become purchase / refund events in your analytics. Only product IDs and revenue are stored; no customer data.

Shopify
  1. 1In this page choose Shopify, enter your Shopify API secret (used for HMAC verification) and shop domain, then copy the webhook URL.
  2. 2In Shopify admin: Settings → Notifications → Webhooks → Create webhook. Add “Order created” and “Refund created”, both pointing to the webhook URL.
  3. 3The official Shopify app can also install the tracking script and enable the checkout field funnel (field names only, values masked).

Repeat purchases by the same customer count as Returning Buyers — the customer id is hashed, so no PII is stored.

WooCommerce (WordPress plugin)
  1. 1Install the BuddyStat Analytics plugin, then open BuddyStat → Settings and enter your Site ID and Dashboard Path.
  2. 2In “WooCommerce (Server-Side Orders)” enable the toggle and paste the Webhook URL and Webhook Secret from this page.
  3. 3Optionally tick “Checkout Funnel” to capture per-field checkout analytics, and use “Send Test Webhook” to verify the connection.

Orders fire order.created, refunds fire order.refunded. Line items are sent automatically; returning buyers are tracked via a hashed customer id (guests excluded).

Custom webhook (for developers)

POST JSON to the webhook URL with the header X-Commerce-Webhook-Secret set to your secret. Supported events: order.created, order.paid, order.refunded, refund.created.

{
  "event": "order.created",
  "platform": "woocommerce",
  "order": {
    "orderId": "ORD-12345",
    "revenue": 129.98,
    "currency": "EUR",
    "tax": 20.0,

    "items": [{ "id": "sku-123", "name": "Canvas Tote", "price": 49.99, "quantity": 2 }]

buyerId is optional and non-PII (e.g. a SHA-256 of your customer id) — it enables Returning Buyer attribution. Use either order.created or order.paid, not both. createdAt (optional) must be YYYY-MM-DD HH:MM:SS.
